The Zamberlan® 5020 Extinguisher II WLF boot offers a remarkably lightweight, extremely comfortable, and completely fire-resistant construction for all-day protection and "out of the box" comfort. This boot is designed to be NFPA compliant while also being built for the mountain and the rigors of today's Wildland Firefighter.Style number: 5020WLF (Black).Zamberlan Hydrobloc Perwanger split-grain leather and Nomex fabric upper are fire resistant and have a lightweight construction. Leather is pre-treated using Zamberlan's proprietary Hydrobloc technology. Highly specialized Italian Perwanger leather is among the most durable in the industry.Built on Zamberlan's famous ZBPK last for superior sensitivity, greater performance, and enduring comfort for long days on the mountain. It is also time-tested and proven as one of the very best fits in the industry.Please note that this product is not re-solable due to the side-stitching sole application system. Updates includes a lace-up system with Kevlar-reinforced, fire-resistant laces, double and triple stitching in key flex areas and additional suede leather over the ankle, which all adhere to NFPA standards.Polyester mesh fabric lining for maximum breathability in hot environments.Zamberlan Flex 4mm polypropylene insole offers the correct level of stiffness to allow for maximum performance yet has a good amount of flexibility to be comfortable when carrying heavy loads and operating on the mountain.Cushioned rubber midsole provides added support and shock absorption. Vibram® Tsavo fire-resistant outsoles are made with Vibram's premium rubber compound for wildland firefighting applications. They are applied with fire-resistant cement and also side-stitched to eliminate the possibility of sole delamination. While heavier than PU-hybrid outsoles used on other Zamberlan models, they embody the extreme durability required for WLF applications.Outsole has a rugged tread pattern that is built for a variety of mountain terrain.Made in Italy.
