The S5 3-1 Safety Cutter from Pacific Handy Cutter was created with safety, efficiency and multi task integration in mind. This ground breaking safety knife was engineered for maximum functionality, from the innovative film cutting tool to the advanced box cutting features. Film cutting with the S5 offers extreme versatility and is a natural complement to the production environment with the super safe fold-out recessed blade film cutter. With safety and ease cut plastic shrink wrap on pallets, then cut box flaps and begin stocking your merchandise, all with the same safe tool. Made from rigid metal the S5 protective guard will not break or bend. The guard covers the blade at all times during top cutting operations to protect the user. The guard works also as a guide for a perfect cut every time and sets the optimal angle of your cut to eliminate damaged product. Utilize the heavy duty tape splitter for opening most boxes to avoid exposure to blades, and to avoid dulling your blades. The S5 has three blade depth positions: Top cut, shallow tray cut and deep cut. It also features a super easy blade change and can store up to 5 blades. Purchase with corresponding holster (UKH-423) and optional lanyard (CL-36). Includes one SP-017 Safety Point Blade. The S5L is for left handed users only.
