This listing is for a 4" X 1-1/4" Total Locking Swivel Stem Caster | 1/2"-13x 1-1/2" Threaded Stem | 1,200 lbs Load Capacity high quality Total Locking Swivel Stem Caster. The stem is 1/2"-13 x 1-1/2" meaning the diameter of the stem is 1/2" and 1.5 inches in length. The Steel Swivel Yoke that holds the wheel is Lacquer Dipped which prevents rust and corrosion and the steel is Hardened Steel which adds strength and durability to the frame of the Caster allowing it to handle more use and abuse while giving this caster a much longer lifespan compared to other Caster brands on the market. We also provide seals in the raceway which are known as raceway seals as an added benefit. Raceway seals prevents dust, hair, and other debris from accumulating in the bearings of the raceway allowing a smoother swiveling motion and a much longer lifespan. We provide lock nuts on every order so you don't need to go to the hardware store and buy locking nuts. The Brake on this Caster is known as a Total Locking Brake which locks the Swivel Raceway from Turning and the Wheel from rolling at the same time. The Brake pedal is red in color and very easy to engage and disengage. The Polyurethane Wheels we provide have a bright red tread on a gray center. We add dual precision bearings in the middle of the wheel for a smooth and quiet ride, most other brands only have a single precision bearing in the middle of the wheel. Dual (2) Precision Bearings are a huge upgrade compared to most wheels that have a plain bore or a single bearing. Dual Precision Bearings are much higher quality, allow easier initiation and roll-ability as well as a smoother and quieter ride. We also provide full dust covers/dust caps on the outside of the dual precision bearings which sit in the center of the wheel on both sides.
